In this unique experience, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills in a real-world, supportive environment and fully immerse yourself in the lifestyle through daily practice, meals, and the application of principles throughout your stay.

As an apprentice, you will actively contribute to the community by teaching donation-based public classes (60/40 split between teacher and the house), guiding meditations, leading breathwork sessions, and collaborating with other interns to organize specialized workshops. You will gain hands-on experience teaching both locals and travelers from around the world.

Throughout your journey, our senior teachers will be there to provide constructive feedback, guiding you as you refine your craft and build confidence as a yoga instructor.

Our internship includes a variety of diverse workshops to help you expand your knowledge and skills. Topics include self-care for yoga teachers, philosophy, anatomy, class sequencing, and how to grow a local and global yoga community.

Additionally, for those interested in broadening their teaching horizons, we offer an additional Spanish course for yoga teachers, enabling you to share the practice across Latin America and beyond. This opportunity to teach yoga in both English and Spanish allows you to forge deeper connections with a wider audience.

Time during the internship is divided between teaching, learning, practicing, and living the yoga lifestyle. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, while weekends are reserved for optional excursions—such as visiting cenotes, the beach, Mayan ruins, or a *temazcal* (sweat lodge), and exploring Mérida and the Yucatán—or for joining specialized workshops at Casa De AUM.

You also have the option to forgo teaching classes and instead fully experience the practice and lifestyle during your stay, while still attending the workshops.
