Yin Yoga is the practice of learning to be with what is, holding long, passive postures that target the connective tissues, fascia, and joints, inviting the kind of release that active practices cannot reach. This 5-day immersion at Casa De AUM moves through the full landscape of Yin theory, anatomy, and facilitation so you leave equipped to teach it with confidence and depth.

Set inside our ashram in Mérida, Yucatán, you will be supported by community, plant-based nourishment, and a space specifically built for transformation.

Asana Library & Variations

Deep exploration of core Yin postures, modifications, props usage, and how to make each pose accessible for every body.

Sequencing & Class Design

How to build a Yin class with intention, theme, meridian focus, and creating the container for stillness.

Teaching Methodology & Cueing

The art of holding space in Yin, language, silence, timing, and how to guide without over-directing.

Practice Teaching & Peer Feedback

Supervised teaching opportunities with structured peer review to develop your voice and confidence.

Getting Here

Travel to Mérida.

FLYING IN

Fly into Cancún (CUN) or Mérida (MID). Cancún flights are typically more affordable. We can help coordinate transport from the airport upon request.

 BUS FROM CANCÚN

The ADO bus from Cancún to Mérida is comfortable, air-conditioned, and takes approximately 4 hours. Tickets run $30–$50 USD.

 TRAVEL TIPS

We recommend travel insurance for peace of mind. Arrive the evening before the training begins to settle in and prepare.
